The Chambers of Deputies passed its original version of the tax package on December 17th 2019

The current coalition found 108 votes and passed its original version of the tax package, which in practice means the following:

1. Increase in gambling tax for lotteries to 35%.
2. Taxation of winnings of players over CZK 1 million, with the withholding tax of 15% for lotteries and the income taxes for other types of gambling games.
3. Cancellation of Section 59 of GA – guaranteed tournaments.
