Minutes of the first meeting of IPRH members in 2022

The first meeting of IFGR members took place in the Prague Startup Centre in Holešovice on 26.4.2022.

The agenda of the meeting included mainly the planned changes to the regulation of gambling, while the whole topic was enriched by hot news that IFGRrepresentatives learned at the Ministry of Finance, just a few tens of minutes before the actual start of the meeting.

Another topic was summary information on the results of meetings with government representatives and parliamentarians, who are in some respects key to the gambling sector. IFGR initiates meetings proactively to establish and maintain contacts in important places before we need to address a current issue with them.

Space was also devoted to the recently published NMS Summary Report on Addictions. It compares individual dependencies in many places and adopts certain recommendations for each of them.

As part of the project “Gambling in a Better Light”, an economic study and its possible three forms of assignment and processing were presented.

There were also news from the Responsible Gaming project, as well as statistics and other developments in the fight against illegal gambling.
