On March 25-26, Prague hosted the prestigious Prague Gaming & TECH Summit, one of the most significant events in the gambling and technology sector. IPRH was the strategic partner of the event, with its representatives playing a crucial role in expert panels and discussions.
Expert Debates on the Future of the Market
The summit was opened by IPRH Secretary Petr Kozák in a panel discussion focused on the latest developments in the Czech gambling market. Together with Jan Urbanec, Jan Holub, and moderator Robert Skalina, they analyzed regulatory changes and their impact on the industry.
Key topics included the implementation of Live Dealer Games and the Panic Button, which further enhance player safety. The debate also focused on combating illegal gambling, particularly blocking unauthorized websites and advertising platforms. Another important discussion point was the future regulation of gambling advertising.
A significant part of the program was also dedicated to responsible and sustainable gambling. Jan Řehola, Director of IPRH, participated in a panel discussion moderated by Pieter Remmers. Alongside Alina Tace, Dan Iliovici, and Bill Pascrell III, they addressed key challenges in gambling prevention and regulation. Řehola introduced the Responsible Gambling project, including the innovative IRIS tool, which is expected to become a crucial element in player protection in the future.
International Recognition for IPRH
One of the summit’s highlights was the prestigious GamingTECH CEE Awards ceremony. IPRH, through its Responsible Gambling project, achieved another remarkable success by winning the award for the third consecutive time for the greatest contribution to responsible gambling in Central and Eastern Europe. This prestigious recognition confirms the importance of the ongoing work in prevention, education, and the promotion of safer gaming environments that IPRH has been dedicated to for years.
Legislative Changes and Their Impact
The final part of the summit was dedicated to the HIPTHER Academy, which featured a series of expert workshops. IPRH organized one of the most anticipated sessions, focusing on the regulation of gambling in the Czech Republic. This workshop attracted significant interest from both domestic and international experts eager to learn more about the current developments and regulatory landscape of the Czech gambling market.
Networking and a Unique Atmosphere
However, the summit was not just about expert discussions. Informal networking and knowledge-sharing were among the key benefits of the entire event. One of the most memorable moments was the morning running session, which created a unique bond between participants.
